When a new player is ready to be added to Laqorr, it is necessary to enrol it on the CMS. In most cases this has already been done by datmedia. However there may be occasions when you need to do it again. There are differences between Android, Chrome and Tizen players. You’ll need a keyboard and mouse attached to the Android or Chrome player, or the screen’s remote for Tizen, and you’ll need to be logged in to Laqorr on a browser.
ON THE PLAYER
CHROME OS
With your Chrome player connected to the internet, Laqorr should automatically take you to the enrolment screen. Click ENROL.
ANDROID
If you’re enrolling an Android player, connect it to the internet then go to APPS and launch Laqorr, click CONNECTION then ENROL.
TIZEN
On a Samsung Tizen screen, use the TV’s remote control, press the HOME button and launch Laqorr. The ENROL button is highlighted. Simply press the ENTER button on the remote control.
Now you’ll be given a six digit code.
IN LAQORR
Open Laqorr in a browser and navigate to NETWORK / PLAYERS and click ENROL.
Enter the code from the player and click ENROL again.
Now, in the ADD PLAYER details page:
- Give the player a name
- Assign it to a Player Site (learn more here)
- Attach it to a Group (learn more here).
Remember to click SAVE.
Return to the player and click LAUNCH. It will begin downloading content from the playlist in the Group you’ve assigned it to.
It will automatically begin playing once the first file has downloaded.
